This policy covers Forest Outdoor Living LLC(“we”, “us”) and this website. We keep it short and specific to what the site actually does.
What we collect
When you submit the estimate form we collect the name, phone number, email address, service selection and project details you enter. Nothing else on the site asks for personal information, and we do not ask for payment details here.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled (see below), those services also set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
How we use it
We use what you submit to respond to your request, prepare an estimate, and carry out work you hire us to do. We may contact you by phone, text or email about that request. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below who help us operate.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are transmitted to our own quoting system, operated for us by ElevateBizPay, which stores the request so we can respond to it. Our website is hosted by Vercel. Our advertising agency, and the advertising services described below, receive usage data from the tags on this site under their own privacy policies. That is the complete list — we do not sell or rent contact information to third parties.
Analytics and advertising
This site loads a Google Tag Manager container that is operated by the advertising agency running our marketing campaign. Through it, the following are active today:
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. These record that a visit or an estimate request followed one of our advertisements, and add your browser to advertising audiences so our ads may be shown to you again on other websites.
- StackAdapt, a programmatic advertising platform. It sets its own identifiers in your browser and collects technical characteristics of your device, which can be used to recognise the same browser across different websites.
These use cookies or similar technologies to measure how the site is used and how effectively our advertising works, including reporting that a visitor submitted the estimate form. This measurement is not tied to the contents of your form submission. Because the container is managed by our advertising agency, the specific tags in it can change; this page describes what is active as of the date shown at the top of this page.
Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) Pixel are supported by this site but are not active at present; if we enable either, they will collect usage data under Google’s or Meta’s own privacy policies.
You can control Google’s ad personalisation in your Google Ads settings, opt out of StackAdapt’s targeted advertising on their opt-out page, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on if we enable it. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet business and tax record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time — reply STOP to a text, or tell us by phone or email. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we honour those requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we do not claim it is.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
